In More Detail…
Meet our Viking raider who will teach the children what life was like. Find out how women could divorce their husbands if they brought dishonour to the family. You also got a special gift as a woman when you got married.
We will teach you about how the Vikings dealt with people who broke the law and how they governed themselves independently. Find out about the cold winters in Scandinavia and how the Vikings farmed and moved house 100m every so often.
Learn about the Viking Longboat and why it was always important to keep a raven onboard. Just be sure not to mess with a Viking Beserker if you see one during the workshop – nothing can stop them when they’re in a rage. If there’s time, we may get to re-enact ‘Ragnarok’ (the end of the world) for the rest of the school. Finally, just what is the ‘thing’?
Book this workshop for a truly ‘Viking’ experience.

Up to 90 children (3 classes) can take part in a full days workshop. For large groups we will need to split the day up slightly.
A big hall is ideal for large groups. However quite often we can fit into one or more classrooms dependent on the group size.
