In More Detail…

Join Captain Chris or Commander Christie as they teach your students about all things space! The students will get a chance to dress up and become part of a brand new famous line of astronauts.

To start with, the students will go through a rigorous warm-up and space training. After this they will explore different types of rockets. Once we blast off into space, the students will get to explore different planets. They’ll learn about their position in relation to the sun and just how lightly or heavily they can tread on the surface.

Later on, the students can check out our hall of fame of famous astronauts and their achievements. They will hear about Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong as they take their first steps on the moon.

Further into our workshop, the students will get to experience what it might be like as part of mission command. Can they solve our mathematical problems to get the space shuttle safely back to earth without burning up on reentry? One wrong move could spell disaster for our crew.

Finally, the students will get to put all of their knowledge to the test with our Space Quiz. Will they get enough questions right, or will they end up falling down a black hole.

Why not book our workshop and let us take you deep into the world of Space – It’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind!

Group Size

Up to 90 children (3 classes) can take part in a full days workshop. For large groups we will need to split the day up slightly.

A big hall is ideal for large groups. However quite often we can fit into one or more classrooms dependent on the group size.
