NOTE: If we are working with one class for a full day, we can go into more depth with certain topics if you wish us to.
In More Detail…
Come and meet our friendly T-rex – that is unless he’s not been fed! The day starts with an introduction to dinosaurs. The students get to see different dinosaurs and imagine how they would have moved/sounded using our active game.
Next, the students will explore what life was like for dinosaurs and how geography could affect the landscape. If there’s time, we can show them a volcano experiment with a real eruption!
Finally, the students will get to meet our T-rex. He can play some games with the children and potentially even be fed by them. Each child will get the chance to interact with the dinosaur and also have a picture taken (great for topic book covers).
Our day finishes off with games, a big quiz and the dinosaur song to consolidate their learning and to lay the foundation blocks for any future learning.

Checklist
Group Size
Up to 90 children (3 classes) can take part in a full days workshop. For large groups we will need to split the day up slightly.
Space
A big hall is ideal for large groups. However quite often we can fit into one or more classrooms dependent on the group size.
