To begin with, our interactive workshop lets your students get a taste of Anglo-Saxon life. Meet the settlers who came over from Europe in the 5th century. Learn about the heptarchy and how they split up the land to be ruled by different people.

Learn the secrets of their language and also where our own language of ‘English’ has evolved from.

There will be a chance for the students to take part in roleplay that teaches and honours different parts of the Anglo-Saxon world.

We have designed this workshop especially to fit around your programme of study. We regularly get teachers asking us to tailor our workshops. If you need us to focus on select era’s or texts that you have planned for your students to study, let us know and we will adapt our workshops where possible.
