To begin with, our interactive workshop lets your students get a taste of how crime and punishment was then, and how it is now. Firstly, we will send our executioner to come and tell you all about his life. Also, to add to the experience, they will bring along with them a selection of real working artefacts, made especially for our workshops (including weaponry and Tudor torture devices).

Next, the students explore crime and punishment through games, exercises and activities in groups. There are plenty of props to play with and there may even be a call for some acting! There will be a chance to recreate some of the historical punishments in a safe environment. By the way, we will also be on the hunt for a witch among the group!

We have designed this workshop especially to fit around your programme of study. We regularly get teachers asking us to tailor our workshops.
