In More Detail…

Let us teach you and your students all about life in the Tudor courts. The first thing they will learn is how to greet their Kings and Queens. Then begins a day of comparison and scrutiny between three monarchs of your choice!

Your students will compare and contrast how each of the monarchs have added to Britain’s history through achievements during their reign. At the end of the day, we will rank our rulers and see who comes out on top to be champion King or Queen of England!

Some Kings & Queens we cover…

QUEEN VICTORIA

Empress of India and the second longest monarch to sit on the English throne.

WILLIAM THE CONQUEROR

The mighty French Norman King who ruled England after the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

HENRY VIII

The King who dared to go against the Pope and create his own church, just so he could divorce his wife!

ELIZABETH I

The Queen who defeated the Spanish Armada and established Protestantism in England.

Group Size

Up to 90 children (3 classes) can take part in a full days workshop. For large groups we will need to split the day up slightly.

Space

A big hall is ideal for large groups. However quite often we can fit into one or more classrooms dependent on the group size.
